Welcome to Mehar PG (“we,” “our,” or “us”). These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our mobile application, website, and related services (collectively referred to as the “Platform”).
By downloading, accessing, or using Mehar PG, you agree to comply with these Terms. If you do not agree, please stop using the Platform immediately.
1. Introduction
Mehar PG is an online platform designed to connect tenants with property owners or managers offering Paying Guest (PG) accommodations.
We act solely as an intermediary and do not own, operate, or manage any PG properties listed on the Platform.
2. Eligibility
To use our services, you must:
Be at least 18 years old;
Have the legal authority to enter into a binding agreement; and
Provide accurate, complete, and current information during registration.
If you are using the app on behalf of a business or organization, you confirm that you have the authority to represent and bind that entity.
3. Account Registration
You must create an account using a valid mobile number or email address.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and all activity on your account.
Mehar PG reserves the right to suspend or terminate any account suspected of misuse, fraud, or policy violations.
4. Services Provided
Through the Mehar PG app, users can:
Browse verified PG listings;
View property details, rent, and amenities;
Contact or book with property owners or managers;
Make online payments (if available).
All property-related information is provided by the property owners or managers, not by Mehar PG.
5. Booking and Payment Terms
When you make a booking, you agree to the property’s specific terms and house rules.
Payments processed through our app are handled securely via trusted third-party gateways.
Mehar PG is not responsible for payments made directly to owners outside the app.
Cancellation and refund policies depend on each property and will be displayed prior to booking confirmation.
6. User Responsibilities
By using Mehar PG, you agree to:
Provide accurate information during registration and booking;
Avoid uploading misleading, false, or offensive content;
Use the Platform only for lawful purposes;
Respect the privacy and property rights of others;
Refrain from attempting to hack, disrupt, or misuse the Platform.
Violation of these terms may result in suspension or permanent termination of your account.
7. Property Owners’ Obligations
If you are a Property Owner/Manager, you agree to:
Provide true, accurate, and up-to-date details about your PG property;
Ensure that property information (rent, facilities, photos, etc.) is correct;
Maintain safety, hygiene, and compliance with local housing laws;
Handle tenant interactions and disputes responsibly.
Mehar PG is not liable for false listings, non-availability, or disputes between tenants and owners.
8. Limitation of Liability
Mehar PG acts only as an online intermediary and does not guarantee the accuracy, safety, or legality of any listing.
We are not responsible for any:
Property-related disputes, damages, or losses;
Theft, accidents, or injuries occurring at listed properties;
Financial loss due to payments made outside our platform.
Users access the Platform and book PG accommodations at their own risk.
9. Cancellation and Refund Policy
Each property may have its own cancellation and refund terms, which will be displayed before booking.
If a booking is canceled by the owner or due to a system error, users may be eligible for a refund as per the applicable policy.
Mehar PG is not responsible for refunds related to direct offline transactions.
10. Privacy and Data Protection
Your data is handled as per our Privacy Policy

11. Intellectual Property Rights
All text, graphics, logos, icons, and other content available on Mehar PG are the intellectual property of Mehar PG or its licensors.
You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reproduce any content from the Platform without prior written permission.
12. Termination of Account
We may suspend or terminate your account without prior notice if:
You violate any of these Terms;
You misuse or abuse the Platform; or
Required by law or court order.
Upon termination, your access to the Platform and its services will be revoked, but pending obligations may still apply.
13. Updates to These Terms
We may revise or update these Terms periodically.
Revised Terms will be posted with a new “Last Updated” date. Continued use of the Platform after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
14. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of India.
